Village Hike

Saturday morning we went on a hike to one of the neighboring villages in the Nonob community.   It was a little over a mile and we drank about 4 liters of water between all of us.   A man was making a roof for a new building he was making.  We passed a lady carrying home a chicken that she had just killed.   Laura tried to chat with a woman who was holding her baby in a belum with her limited Tok Pisin that she had learned Friday.  We are learning the language in our training everyday and hopefully we will know enough to converse with the nationals soon.

These are great pics. I am so glad you are able to blog even during your training. It looks like you are really getting first hand experience.
